Amy Jouan is the manager for the UC Davis Student-Run Clinics. She knows just about everything that's going on at the clinics, so if you have questions... or a great new idea for what you think would really help the clinics- run it by her. Someone may already be doing "your idea" at another clinic, or the medical directors may have previously implemented a similar program in the past and she can tell you about what worked best, what didn't work, or what has been previously discussed. If you would like help, you can email, call, or come by her office. If you'd like exceptional help... bring chocolate. Volunteer Clinical Faculty (VCF) form (coming soon) -
If you are a physician, we would love to have you come out and precept at any of the seven UC Davis Student Run Clinics.
However, to provide the necessary liability insurance coverage for you, you will first need to complete a
the Volunteer Clinic Faculty form and submit it directly to Amy Jouan at amy.jouan@ucdmc.ucdavis.edu

Clinic Elective Form -
If you are currently enrolled at UC Davis School of Medicine, you will need to complete the
this form, and on your first day at clinic make sure that you get it signed by the Medical Director of whichever clinic you attend.
Then turn the completed and signed form into the Registrars Office (on the first floor of the MedEd Building)

Volunteering Form -
If you are not currently enrolled at UC Davis School of Medicine, and you are considering volunteering at any of the Student Run Clinics,
you must first complete this volunteer application and return directly to Amy Jouan (not Volunteer Services),
along with immunization records: showing proof of two MMR's in a lifetime and a TB test within the past 11 months. |
